We always appreciate the opportunity to share our message and offer presentations tailored to your audience. Topics include: breast health, survivorship, disparities in our community, breast cancer in men, young women and breast cancer, and many others. Whether it’s a Girl Scout troop or a retirement community, we can provide your audience with information directly related to them. There is no charge for the presentations, but donations are greatly appreciated to help offset the costs of travel and materials. Due to high demand, speaking requests for the month of October must be made by August 31.
Komen SC is happy to provide community members with breast health information. For budgetary reasons, we are only able to provide educational materials for up to 100 people per event. We welcome any donations to help cover the costs of materials.
Once your request has been approved, you will need to schedule a pick-up date/time to obtain your materials. If your materials have not been picked-up three days after the arranged date, they will be returned to stock.
We offer several online toolkits for free education materials. There are no forms to complete or cost required- just download the pdf and print them! We also encourage you to visit www.ShopKomen.com/komenLowcountry where you can purchase breast cancer related gifts and larger quantities of educational materials.
