How to Apply for Funding
The promise of Susan G. Komen® is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2015, Komen Lowcountry is investing more than $324,000 in six local community programs.
The Affiliate funds non-duplicative, community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening, diagnostic, and treatment projects for the medically underserved in 17 SC counties. In addition to funding local outreach projects, Susan G. Komen® runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today. Our Affiliate is proud to have funded more than $5.8 million to community grants since 2001.
Applications will be accepted for breast health or breast cancer screening, treatment, education, or support projects serving our 17 counties starting October 15, 2014 for the fiscal year April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016.

Grant Writing Workshops for the 2015-2016 grant cycle will be announced by Aug. 15, 2014. Please check back for details. Attendance at a grant writing workshop and GeMS training is required for all applicants.
Applications for the 2015-2016 grant cycle are due December 5th at 12:00 EST (noon).
